Let’s Have Some Fun, This Beat is Sick. I Wanna Take a Ride On Your…Pony
Beginning May 17, Farmville aficionados will gain access to the game-within-a-game showcasing the Mother Monster’s farm style. Think sheep on motorcycles, unicorns, and we can only imagine, cows butchered in-game for meat dresses.
OK, so maybe not the butchering part…
Gagaville resident, users, citizens??? will get exclusive access to Born This Way unreleased tracks before Gaga’s album release. Those who purchase a $25 Zynga game card will get a free download of Born This Way to boot.
Basically, you can’t afford NOT to move to Gagaville. Born This Way Ball concert tickets, intimate invitations to on-set music video meet and greet sessions, and signed albums will be given away daily to little monster farmers.
It all sounds rather brilliant to us. While some will claim overexposure, from a business point of view, this is really effing savvy. Zynga is a multi-billion dollar company practically coded directly into Facebook. Just like her Google interview last month, Gaga seems to be sidestepping tradition media outlets and taking her promotional tour directly to the people where they are already spending their time – online and on social networks.
You’ll score some new music, and Gaga and Zynga will walk away from this millions of dollars richer. A win for everyone.
Will you be planting bedazzled crops in Gagaville?
