Adulting Infographic: Buy Toilet Paper in Bulk

Kelly and Kevin, plus one.

Lately, I’ve been obsessed with Adulting: How to Become a Grownup in 387 Easy(ish) Steps. And not just because I used to halfway sort of kinda date the creator, Kelly Brown, in college. (Dates included seeing Margaret Cho’s Cho: Revolution tour, and frequent happy hours at gay bars on Bourbon Street.  What can I say? I’m a romantic.)

Look, here’s even a picture of us as nubile, lithe 22ish-year-olds. You’ll notice that I am rocking TWO polo shirts at once, and my eyes are closed as I was rightly out of my mind on drink and humidity at the time. It was New Orleans, after all. Kelly is the babe in beads and red hair. Am I smelling Kelly’s roommate in this photo? Are any of us wearing pants? Were haircuts for male students not permitted on campus for some reason? Life is a mystery!

But that’s neither here nor there.

We’re here to talk about Adulting Step Eleven: Buy Toilet Paper in Bulk. Take it away, Kelly.

I always feel vaguely embarrassed when buying toilet paper, especially if I buy a bunch, because what does that say about me as a person?

But this is something I need to get over. One, running out of toilet paper sucks, and it will happen less often if you buy in bulk. Two, it’s not like you aren’t going to use it eventually.

Let’s look at a graph that illustrates toilet paper need: at every point between infancy and death, the answer to the question, ‘Do I need toilet paper?’ will always be ‘Yes.’

Just go ahead and buy in bulk.
