Mother’s Old Testament Inspired Home Circumcision Seriously Injures Son

Keemonta Peterson just earned herself five years worth of probation for seriously injuring her infant son’s penis during a routine DIY at-home circumcision. You know, the type sane, rational, loving parents do without the aid of a doctor or medical care.
For some shocking reason, the surgery didn’t go well.
Peterson called 911 and reported her son was bleeding uncontrollably from his penis after the circumcision went awry. Peterson, who possesses no surgical experience, was inspired to perform the procedure herself after reading the Old Testament. She would later tell a judge that she studied how to do it on YouTube.

Her son, and what remains of his penis, have been placed into state foster care along with his three siblings. Peterson is currently being permitted visitation under supervision.
Yo – just because you read something in the Bible doesn’t make it true. It’s a book written thousands of years ago by a bunch of Middle Eastern dudes. Don’t chop your son’s penis off because a book tells you that you can!
