Jamie Kilstein: Gay sage wisdom.

“Do you know how many straight people shouldn’t have kids? Go to a movie theater or an IHOP on a Sunday!”

I don’t know about you guys, but I think he makes some damn good points. How can opponents of gay marriage argue that a same-sex couple adopting a child can have negative effects on said child? Pretty sure the fact that you’re an awful parent would contribute much more than having two moms or two dads.

Take a look at the world we live in; I feel like “gay parents” is at the bottom of the “List of Things That’ll Screw Up a Kid.” Right under “shame-fisting” and meth coma. Right, Jamie?

Do you think that children raised by gay parents have any advantages or disadvantages to those raised by straight parents?

I do think that a child raised by straight parents does have advantages. Before you start flaming me, the only reason why I say this is because straight and homosexual couples are treated differently by the law. Homosexual couples may not be able to get the same benefits that a straight couple may get. Now if we were all put on a level playing field, no. I don’t think that there are advantages nor disadvantages to either.
