Not ALL Christians are assholes. It’s wrong of people to assume that they are, just like it’s wrong of Christians to assume all LGBT people are child molesters or perverts. The ignorance of those people on both sides is annoying. 

Bravo St. Mary’s.

I cried when I read this sign. This whole story has just been filled with such pain and flat-out horror at the sheer hatefullness in people and CHILDREN that this one, small picture is such a relief and breath of fresh air. Thank you, thank you, thank you for not spreading the stupid f’ing disease that continues to plague us. 

Thank you, Ashley, for your kind comments. We are trying very hard to be inclusive of everyone and Jamey’s death has taken its toll on our parish and on me personally. Jamey should still be alive and filled with love and excitement for life. Our horrific experience of his death is beyond words. He tried so hard to love people and be loved. It’s nice to see this, but I wish it didn’t say attention Christians in the beginning. We are not all pig headed people that can’t think out of the box. I’m a christian and an open lesbian. I know it is the way that the majority of Christians act that give us such a bad name, but it’s not fair for all of us to be thrown into the category.
