Tracy Morgan: It’s YOUR Fault I Threatened to Kill My Gay Son

Tracy Morgan continues to annoy.

It’s been a few months since Tracy Morgan walked onto a Nashville stage and threatened to stab his son to death if he ever dared to come out as gay. The ugly incident went down right in the heart of Tennessee during national debate on the state’s Don’t Say Gay Bill, which makes even acknowledging that homosexuality exists illegal in public schools, and served as a perfect example of what sort of ignorance hateful laws that marginalize LGBT Americans are capable of producing.

The story, which we helped to break, was our biggest to date at the time and saw over 80,000 people sharing our piece on Facebook, as well as our tweet becoming the 4th biggest trending topic on Twitter. Morgan went on a GLAAD-sponsored apology tour in the following days, after apologizing to Unicorn Booty personally – but seeing as how our request for an apology was smugly turned down twice until the story grew to epic proportions, we chose not to accept. And it is really any wonder? Here’s a reminder of what was said on that stage:

-Mr. Morgan took it upon himself to mention about how he feels all this gay shit was crazy and that women are a gift from God and that “Born this Way” is bullshit, gay is a choice, and the reason he knows this is exactly because “God don’t make no mistakes” (referring to God not making someone gay cause that would be a mistake).

-He said that there is no way a woman could love and have sexual desire for another woman, that’s just a woman pretending because she hates a fucking man.  He took time to visit the bullshit of this bullying stuff and informed us that the gays needed to quit being pussies and not be whining about something as insignificant as bullying.

-He mentioned that gay was something kids learn from the media and programming, and that bullied kids should just bust some ass and beat those other little fuckers that bully them, not whine about it.  He said if his son that was gay he better come home and talk to him like a man and not [he mimicked a gay, high pitched voice] or he would pull out a knife and stab that little N (one word I refuse to use) to death.

-He mentioned that Barack Obama needed to man up and quit being all down with this just because he has a wife and two daughters.  All of this being followed by thunderous cheer and “You go Tracys”.  Tracy then said he didn’t fucking care if he pissed off some gays, because if they can take a fucking dick up their ass… they can take a fucking joke.

Someone in Morgan’s camp has decided it’s finally safe for the actor to come out of media hiding, and so Morgan joined host David Letterman on The Late Show last night. And for what it’s worth, Letterman refused to let Morgan slip threw the cracks and avoid accountability – sort of.

Watch for yourself as Tracy Morgan blames YOU for getting upset about what HE refuses to admit that he even said. How can something possibly be so simultaneously offensive to become the defining soundbite of his public life to date, yet vapor thin enough to disappear from his own memory without a trace?

Shut up. Shut up. Shut up.

It’s worth noting that Morgan specifically points out that the political discourse brought on by Tennessee’s Don’t Say Gay Bill was especially heightened at the time, making his comments on that stage all the more despicable.
