In light of all the recent lgbt suicides and our constant bantering about not wanting to hear things like “Faggy acting little boys” or other discriminatory remarks, do we feel good with this article and video clip? Does it make us proud to be a part of the LGBT communities? For me not so much. I would rather listen to a bigot behind the pulpit preaching about the sanctity of marriage than be in ANY way associated with the completely incompetent neanderthals producing this shite.

I never understood this oversensitization to language – it’s not the words, it’s the intent. My friends call me a “kike dyke” (Jewish and lesbian slur respectively) and I haven’t cried once, in fact sometimes I laugh right along with them. But if someone called me that with the intention of hurting me, I wouldn’t laugh, though I also wouldn’t give an overblown reaction. I’m not going to let someone subjectify me with something as petty as words and none of you should either. Because guess what WORDS CAN’T HURT YOU. And the most powerful tool we have against those words is taking them and defanging them, and one of the most effective ways of doing that is MAKING A JOKE OUT OF IT. Don’t freak out, and go “I’M NOT LAUGHING, THAT’S OFFENSIVE” over a compilations of English lets meant to form a word that somewhere along our linguistic history someone decided to use as an insult.

faggy acting little boys….kinda cracked me up….lol!! i cant even lie! like everything when said in a serious newscaster voice cracks me up, its like if someone called me a carpet munching dyke in that voice i would laugh hysterically. Lighten up people, its making light of a situation that actually occurs, which is forcing your children to follow gender normative roles. I got the joke, which is basically saying that it doesnt work. Let your kids be who they are or end up with a disaster….lol!! <3
