Whether your state is plagued by tornadoes, ghost towns, rattlesnakes or Snooki, every state has their own terrifying homegrown threat that haunts the dreams of sleeping children each night.

And while we aren’t quite sure why the greater New England area seem to be under siege by zombified historical figures, there’s no arguing with Pleated Jeans‘ big bads in most of these places.

what about my state, (Indiana) and our Zombie, I think the fact that the only legal recognition in this state is the fact that we are banned from any legal unions.

I’ve been in NC nearly 40 years, and I’ve never seen a rattlesnake… a few copperheads and a moccasin or two, but the scariest thing NC has going is Virginia Foxx.

The Lemp Mansion is fun to visit around Halloween, but the thing that Missourians are most scared of? Yeah right. Having to pay to visit my doctor to get a prescription for over the counter cold medicine is far more concerning to me.

I’m in Wisconsin and that Cheeseheads thing is BS. Why is Jeffrey Dahmer listed for Ohio? He resided in Milwaukee Wisconsin, as did Ed Gien, who the movie character “Leatherface” Is partially based on. Aside from that Wisconisn is known as one of the most haunted states in the US, and is even the home to cryptozoological creatures like the Man Bat and Beast of Bray Road.

I would go for CO’s scariest thing being Ted Haggard (a.k.a. Teddy Bear), seeing as he is preachin’ again (though in an interview, he came off as decidedly more humble and less anti-gay), or Focus on the Family. Also, CO is the one who has the unibomber (in the Florence supermax). Only his land is in Montana.
