Another Gay Man Burned to Death; Left on the Side of the Road
The “horrifically” beaten and burned corpse of 28-year-old Stuart Walker was discovered this weekend on the side of a popular intersection in Ayrshire, Scotland. Walker is the latest in a series of gay men set on fire throughout the world over the past several weeks.
It’s been reported that Walker was discovered tied to a lamppost, but police have put out a statement that this was not the case.
A police insider said: “Stuart was a gay man and this will be one of the things that is looked at, but by no means the only thing.”
Police refused to confirm rumours that they were looking for four girls in connection with the terrifying attack. Horrified locals last night told of their fears Stuart was targeted because of his sexuality.
One tweeted a link to a picture of the murder victim, and wrote: “This is the man who was tied to a lamppost and then set on fire for being gay yesterday, RIP.”
But detectives insisted they had yet to find any evidence which supported that theory.
Walker’s family has released a chilling statement in response to the murder: “The people who did this had better emigrate.”
This alarming trend in hate has got to stop. Immediately.
