Our newest web obsession, It Gets Betterish tackles fag hags in their latest episode.

We’ve all met this girl at a dinner party. Cousin of the host or maybe high school bestie from upstate? Met a gay person once in her life, and feels qualified to dispense with every cliche in the book? Asks you what Sex & the City girl you are.

Like I said, we’ve all met this girl at a dinner party…and wanted to toss her out a window.

Dear lord, that’s awful. If I were to ever be like that, I would hope someone would have the courtesy (for everyone else in the room if not just me) to take me out behind the barn and shoot me. I call myself a “fag hag” but christ, I’m more like a drag queen. Without the penis.

Although, I will say, now that I’ve moved from Minneapolis and away from everyone I know, I MISS MY GAYS (ha, had to do it). Though after more than a year in Ohio, I have zero friends. Missing my gay housemate who is replaced by my religious mother who believes faggotz go to hell is AWFULER THAN THIS VIDEO D:
Also, to make my “fag hag” self-label less terrible, I don’t even know what the hell “Sex and (In?) the City” in about, who’s in it, or what the HELL she’s talking about. And who calls gay friends “girlfriend”? Oh god I want to punch her.

The Saloon for sure – more hijinks have gone on there than I can remember (not the least of which was being kicked out for smoking weed in the bathroom with two boys). The 90′s is fun as long ass there’s not a bachelorette party going on upstairs during the drag show. UGH, hate those. But I MISS MPLS SO MUCH!!!

her behavior is that of someone who is socially awkward and is trying really hard to make friends. its actually really sad and i wouldnt personally make fun of her. its better to just make friends with her and politely let her know what’s offensive and how she can enjoy better social success.
