Zac Efron shows some love to the gays! The teen heart-throb was spotted sporting this nifty t-shirt which states ‘Some dudes marry dudes. Get over it.’ Marcus, Michele, Rick, Mitt – we’re looking at you. Zac is totally jumping on the Justin Bei-BEAR bandwagon here.

I’m not usually a huge Zac Efron fan but I have to say that homeboy is looking pretty hot in this photo. Rawr!

***Update: A few eagle-eyed readers pointed out that the image was totally photoshopped. And FCKH8 would have gotten away with it too if not for you meddling kids and your dog! Whatever. As far as we’re concerned, Zac’s never looked better.

That’s not cool. Photoshopping to just get our equality message across does more harm for the movement then good. If we are going to gain our equality we need to do it with dignity and remain honest at all times.

It was photoshopped. In real life, the news organization would have to publish a retraction and an apology both to the public and Zac Efron, and the retraction/apology would have to have billing equal to the original article/photo.

To not catch that it’s photoshopped is one thing; to not apologize once you realize it was is appalling and disgusting.
You could be sued by Zac Efron for this; he owns his own image, and you violated this by knowingly keeping this up and not posting an apology and retraction.

hmmmmmmmmm.
It’s one thing to photoshop someone 15 lbs lighter and with their general foreknowledge (I think it’s shitty but it’s a different story and a different conversation), it’s another to edit your political beliefs onto someone’s shirt and pass it off as if they purport it. I own two FCKH8 shirts myself but who knows if Zac supports it? I doubt he’s anti-gay marriage but it’s still presumptuous and disrespectful and I feel like that should be completely obvious.

Just because it’s photoshopped doesn’t mean anything. Plenty of pictures are photoshopped, or have you not picked up a magazine recently? Also, UB won’t get in trouble because they reposted it. They didn’t do the original cut-n-paste, therefore they are free of liability. And why do they have to apologize for this “appalling and disgusting” post? They also “destroyed their credibility” by one photoshopped picture? Again, see magazines. Please quit being demanding, all it does is make you look bitchy.

I think it’s awesome. I couldn’t tell it was photoshopped. And I’m sure he is a decent person and agrees with such views, so why not show them? (even if it is photshopped!)
