TN Christian Academy Passes Schoolwide Gay Ban to Punish One Gay Student

He is not real, Religion is the most evil thing in the word. It brainwashes people. God hasn’t shown he is real but gay people are everywhere proving they are real.

That’s a very bogus argument. “The truth offends sometimes”. Christians tend to get very offended when we tell them that homosexuality is normal and naturally occuring. Maybe THAT is the truth. People get offended when they’re called idiots, maybe THAT is the truth. People get offended when racial slurs are used, maybe THOSE are appropriate. Offense isn’t a sign of truth, it’s just a sign that someone is either oversensitive or someone is being very rude, but it’s not a qualifiers. He’s probably offended because you barged in going “WORD OF THE LORD”.

Well tell me, if your Lord is so great, then tell me why he would specifically create creatures with free will but then tell them what to do and threaten them with ghastly consequences like pain, death and hell (when it would’ve been far less painful for everyone if he just programmed them right or y’know, not built a world where they would break any of his subjective rules) and then give these two humans instructions to not do something, but rather than give them a rational reason why just tell them if they do he’ll punish them, then allow a creature that he no doubt CREATED, a creature that is EVIL, that GOD CREATED, tempt them into eating this thing they’ve been told not to for no reason, and then kick them out because God, in his so called “infinite wisdom” created creatures with free will which he then immediately gave rules too and then placed them in a situation where rules are necessary when any all powerful being could just make a world where rules are not necessary, then he created a creature that he couldn’t keep from being evil long enough to teach his creation about temptation (a kid will easily jump in a car with a stranger if no one teaches them not too) that then convinces them the rule was silly because it is. Why would God make such a tree in the first place? God created a perfect utopia for his creation where there was literally one rule. God didn’t give them a whole book of laws. He gave them one rule. And that rule only existed because God felt the need to create something just to tease this creation. And then when they broke the rule, he kicks them out, even though the rule was only an issue in the first place because either God is an inadequate idiot or a sick, twisted creep. He’s the exact making of a serial killer. He made little animals but those weren’t fun, so he made intelligent beings with free will, taunted them with a tree that he could’ve just NOT HAD, sent temptation to them, and now has spent the last Biblical 6000 years torturing those same creations.

And the Jesus story, give me a break. His teachings are the only part of the Bible that don’t make me weep for humanity, since they teach people to be tolerant, decent human beings. But that is also the part Christians take the most liberty with saying “well he really meant this” or “well that means this” even with verses that are so straight forward a kindergardener could understand them. And regardless, the purpose of Jesus is idiotic. He comes to earth and does miracles, then says don’t judge me by my works and refuses to do them further. Why would God have to send this symbolic sacrifice anyway? Why would he wait thousands of years for this salvation, essentially damning 99.9% of the population except for the handful of people who believed in him, probably owing 100% to the fact that God, who plays favorites, decided “I’m going to talk to you and only you, even though I’m omnipresent and should be able to talk to everyone”? And why do it in such a bizarre way? God is like Santa Claus, but five times as sadistic and only half as probably. The most probing difference is, anyone above the age of 12 who believes in Santa Claus is considered crazy or stupid. And yet millions of people of all ages believe in God, and actually find the horrifying stories in the Bible not only accurate but INSPIRING. Because nothing is more inspiring than a God with all the power who WILLFULLY REFUSES to help the suffering creatures he created. All in the name of “free will”. And I loved the Sunday School rendition. “He wants us to have free will so we can really love him.” That’s what I love most. The sadism, the murder, the favoritism, that’s one thing. But God in the end is an egotistical jerk. He didn’t give you free will for your benefit. He gave you free will so he could torture and threaten you into loving him, and then, like an abusive boyfriend, tries to gloss it over with this “Well I sent my only son – the fact that said sacrifice was inherently inane since he ascended to heaven in the end anyway and I actually gave no sacrifice at all is besides the point – he died for your sins!” If human beings did half the stuff God did, they would be locked in jail or in mental institutions. The monotheistic concept of God is a sexist, narcissistic abusive, sadistic jerk. I will never understand why people hold so dearly to their depiction of him.

That’s one of the reasons I don’t like the Tim Tebow obsession people have. He has talent, he’s a decent football player. Yet he gives that to god – Christians seem to mistake esteem and giving yourself credit for “self worship”.

And before you start, because I have never once had a Christian give a reasonable response to that rant, because lets face it, everything I’ve said is 100% true and you can’t dispute it with facts: I am not bitter at God, I am not mad at God, I don’t hate God, I don’t hate Christians (though I do find them very confusing individuals), I will admit to hating Christianity as a concept, but that can go for any organized religion, I am not offended by God or Jesus. The reason for this is I don’t believe any of these things exist, because they do not make any sense. What I HATE is the concept of the monotheistic god, or Christian God, and what I hate is how people can seriously look down on people for NOT selling their soul to an individual that is portrayed in such a manner. And what I HATE is that people are so blinded by this idea of “faith” that they can’t see how juvenile the concept is.

And lastly, I concede, if God exists, then fine. I am fully prepared to give this exact same speech on Judgment Day, because any God that behaves like the one in the Christian Bible is not a God, he’s a playground bully. At least the Christian Satan has some consistency, he’s just a jerk. He’s the friend smoking pot and telling you to join in. God is the guy who shoots squirrels with BB guns and punched you in the face last week, but he’s the quarterback so everyone pretends not to notice.

If you’re sorry for offending people, Brandy, then why do you do it? You Christians rabbit on about this stuff as if it’s perfectly OK in a secular society to force people who don’t believe your faith to follow it regardless. How would you feel in a country ruled by an Islamist government to be forced to follow Sharia law? You would be up in arms about it before anyone could say “sweet Jesus”.

And by the way; since you claim your authority to make such statements is based upon your belief in the veracity of the Christian bible, the authority of which resides in God, please be so good as to prove without any possibility of refutation that your God (or any god for that matter) exists at all.
I won’t be holding my breath

In my Bible, Jesus only seemed to offend the religious establishment and a handful of politicians.  Has Jesus changed his mind recently, and prefers to join forces with Pilate and the Pharisees, “Yep, let’s stone those sinners!”

I don’t know the guy, Jesus that is, but Brandy from what I have learned about him through Christians, I think he would be offended by you and those faux-Christians spouting half-truths and blatant lies in his name.
