Every Single New Year’s Eve Party Ever

A flyer making the rounds today online pretty much sounds like every single New Year’s Eve party I’ve ever attended.

Super douchey dance club: check. DJ takes no requests: check. Get in a fight with your date: check. Someone pukes: at least it wasn’t me.

I went to a house party with some of my good friends. It was “herbal”-centric (LOL) so no one got too drunk, and a good time was had by all.

Well, went out to the bar, started out having fun in spite of my extreme shyness. By the end of the night, was highly self-conscious, almost to the point of panic and the music had become loud enough to become physically painful in my chest and abdomen. Left at 11:30. Experiment failed.
