im sry, but that is NOT great!!! what is the world coming too? I had to try and explain to my 3 yr old why a man was dressed like a women. not cool. we get it, ur gay and proud! but GOD didnt intended on it to be adam & steve. its adam & eve, get it right!

I’m glad they have the right to be who they are.

Since this is taken in a private setting I don’t have any problem with
it at all. When I was a Marine we weren’t allowed to show any public
displays of affection. I couldn’t hold hands with my wife while in
uniform. I think that is a good policy for everyone in the military.

In the privacy of their own home or when they are returning from
deployment is another story. There will always be public displays at a
homecoming. That should be acceptable for all personnel

We couldn’t smoke while walking down the street in uniform, wear our
camouflage uniforms off of the base, or hold hands or kiss in uniform.

I’m really glad that we have grown enough to realize that gay people are
an important part of our Country. Thank you for your service guys.

Their, there, they’re.  Please use the correct form of speech.  Jeebus we get enough shit from the straights without using gutter English.

Love this. I love how people can now display the love they have for another. It doesn’t matter what you are; Gay, Straight, Bi-sexual, Transgendered, we are all human beings and people like these two men are what make me see that there is still love out there to be given. I am a straight woman and support this 100%. All of those ignorant people who see this as something bad have to shut up and know that even though you might think this is “wrong” they are probably happier than you have and will ever be in your entire lives.

Thank you, Jeremy, for the reminder of the importance of proper grammar!  I’m quite weary that society continues to “dumb down” the English language.   Surely I am not the only person who refuses to use complete words and sentences when I send a text message!  May we all be proud of these men for their courage, their love and their service to our country.

Now we just need to see more equality in the transgender side of the community :3

I agree with David Trace-I am a military wife and have to adhere to military rules on PDA…but that’s okay.  It’s is respectful NOT to show affection while on base/in a public setting while in uniform.  This is a rule, to my understanding that will continue to apply to everyone, and that’s okay too.  I am so freaking happy though that homosexual couples can just be themselves!  Being part of a military community I can tell you most people are totally cool about it.  Welcome to the 21st century!

Before I begin my post, I MUST inform the public that I am all for gay marriage. I was raised in a very accepting household and have learned to accept people for who they are. 

HOWEVER, when someone makes a comment that disagrees with your beliefs the proper thing to do is not to bash their character, their grammar skills, their parenting skills, etc. If the GLBT community wants acceptance, then you must accept that there are others out there who still do not understand your way of life. Instead of bashing what a terrible person Renee is, how about practicing what you preach, accept that she needs to be EDUCATED (peacefully) on another lifestyle. Not everyone in the world is going to automatically accept change and a new way of thinking, and the GLBT community surely will not gain any supporters if your only argument is to bash the character of any opposers. So, if you want to make a positive change in your community, and the world, then peacefully educate people like Renee and show her that being GLBT does not make a difference in who you are as a person. Right now, a lot of people are acting just as uneducated and quite frankly, ridiculous, and I can guarantee you have not changed her opinions (if anything you have officially reinforced them).

Renee – being GLBT is not a “decision,” as it also is not wrong. Whom someone loves comes from within, it is not a choice. If we could “choose” whom it is that we love then we would probably all be happily married to Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie with 3 beautiful kids and a comfortable life – but we can’t. As for men/women dressing in clothes “made for” the opposite sex. Who are we to say what is appropriate to wear? Girls are dressing in more provocative clothes than ever, women caking their faces in makeup, and men with pants halfway down their butts. Clothes are just clothes, and who are any of us to tell someone that they must feel less attractive by dressing to a certain societal “norm”? While I understand wanting to pass your acquired wisdom and knowledge down to your children, it is also important to allow them to make their own assumptions about right and wrong. Presenting your child with the idea that being GLBT is not in your idea of “right” or “wrong” is perfectly fine, because while we are all entitled to freedom and the ability to love who we want, we are also entitled to our opinions. However, you should consider leaving the idea wide open. If your child grows up to be accepting of others, what is the harm in that? You believe that being GLBT is wrong in your God’s eyes, and whether or not that is true is up to the man himself to judge. I certainly believe, however, that your God, my God, and any other higher authority is perfectly fine with acceptance. You cannot change how others will act, what they will, or in this case, who their heart desires. You CAN, however, learn to accept all people and make some sort of impact in their life in another way.
