Mitt Romney Donated HOW MUCH Money to Help Pass Prop 8?!

i fail to see what this has to do with prop. 8.  it says he donated massive amounts to the mormon church, but, as it says right in your article, he’s required by his religion to do so.  i wouldn’t vote for the guy, but this headline and this article make no sense.

The Mormon Church was one of the biggest contributors in helping pass Prop 8. They basically bought the Prop 8 victory. By Mitt Romney contributing to the church, he in turn contributed to passing Prop 8. It’s a bit of a stretch, I know, but logical nonetheless.

He is not fit to be the prez. A bigot–in several directions.

that’s more than a bit of a stretch.  i paid taxes last year.  it doesn’t mean i intentionally funded an unjust war.  donating to the catholic church doesn’t mean you endorse child molesters.  that said, romney’s not going to do anything for the gay community, that’s plain to see.  i just think the headline was misleading.

This article is not saying what you think it is. As a former member of the LDS church, tithes are NOT required, but paid willingly just as any church has requested according g to the bible. As for the stocks Romney gave the. Birch, they were part of his tithes, and or part o any contribution for the churches many charities; such as he food canneries or the bishops warehouse.
If you want to demonize someone for having so much money, then be fair and mention George Soros and Warren Buffet as well. Oh, and Bill Clinton has made millions in speech fees since being president.

What pisses me off is people like him who donate money to sh*t like this; or throw in thousands/millions of dollars on a campaign ad that runs 15-30 seconds on tv, but can’t effing donate to charity or to help feed children, or find the homeless homes, or help underprivileged children.
