Moral abomination? People marrying animals? Not natural? We’ve heard all these before but not laughed quite this hard. Check out this amazing gay marriage infographic which explains what your argument against equality says about you.

And just to rub a little extra salt in the wound, it also tells you why you are wrong. In addition, you will learn what other time in history your argument has been used (Sorry, I know you thought the whole marrying a horse thing was so original).

On that second-to-last argument, another thing… not everyone follows the “bible.”

Anyone who uses that argument is trying to blend the government and religion… regardless of the rule of Separation of Church and State.

Yes, and Mike O’Neal, the Republican House Representative for Iowa, said the Bible condones praying for Obama’s death. He even had a verse in mind when he said it.
The bible verse was written thousands of years before Obama even existed.
And I’m tired of people using the Bible not as a source of comfort but as an opportunity to become a club over your head.

Yeah, I would have to agree. The use of “retarded” sort of undermines the whole argument and pulls the author down to the level of the very people he or she is criticizing. Poor choice of words. Besides, the mentally challenged probably don’t like being compared to homophobes!

I really, really, wish you had a chart with the “what your excuses really mean” section left off. Because they’re just insulting and not true, while the other arguments are wonderful, true, and convincing. I can’t show this chart to someone who has problems with gay marriage because of the last category; they’ll dismiss the whole thing.

I thought the whole thing was great. It does how some lowbrow vernacular in there, but in my mind it made it funnier, because on the inside, when I’m having these discussions in a mature manner this is exactly how I want to deliver my argument. All venom. lol
