What do they mean by a ‘friend of the world’? As in, a worldly person?

Being Jewish, our rabbis are supposed to be worldly as to better advise people concerning worldly problems…

I wonder why he chose 80 percent as his arbitrary, unfounded number…  Maybe it’s because 80 looks like a vacant, drooling face when you view it sideways, and that’s probably the expression that his congregation makes when they listen to him spew his garbage. Mysteries never cease.

I think that people should boycott Starbucks anyway. Not for their political values but because their coffee is shite.

I have God within me, we speak often, and she isn’t into hate at all. She doesn’t like it when I “hate” politicians for hating me, so no, God isn’t about the hate, she is about the love. And she prefers Bentlys coffee but she is fine with a Starbucks skinny latte

I love my “STARBUCKS PRIDE” shirt with a RAINBOW SBUX CUP on the front.  :) Puts a few people off but to work for a company that fully supports me for who I am is awesome!

Hell, if the Christians are going to abandon Starbucks, I know where I’m going to be hanging out more often. Nothing against their god, who from what I remember is a big supporter of love and kindness, but I’m not crazy about the majority of his fan club. They’re the reason I stopped going to my grandmother’s Pentecostal church at 14, then turned Aethiest in college. 

Wow… :/ If only someone cared what those christian extremists were saying… Lol. 

First of all I am a Christian. Second of all yes, it says in the Bible it is wrong for a man to lay with another man, BUT it also states that God’s greatest of all commandment is to LOVE. God does not hate, God loves and forgives, everyone who wants forgiveness. I am sure when we get to Heaven there will be more Gays than so called want to be Christians. Only those who ARE Christians know that God loves EVERYONE. But I do agree Starbucks coffee is kinda of awful, but they have good cold drinks.. I guess the so called Christians will also boycott Microsoft and Amazon as well.

Ya know, I may not like Starbucks Coffee much but as a pro-choice, gay lovin’ Catholic, I think this is a sign from God to drink more Starbucks! What? What’s that Jesus? You want to grab a soy mochaccino latte? I have 5 Starbucks near me, let’s go to ALL OF THEM! 

LOL…Starbucks could loose 80% of its business if churches quit serving it. I think someone’s feeling a little bit superior…isn’t that special? Kinda reminds me of crazy Pastor Ken Hutcherson’s boycott of Microsoft because they supported the domestic partnership law back in 2009. He was going to put them out of business. I love how these people are so dillusional about there relevance.

Makes me glad I’m a Satanist… who wants love and Starbucks? <3

I’m betting there are more gays than Christians at Starbucks, so it seems like a pointless gesture

So they boycott Starbucks, what about Microsoft? Can’t live without Microsoft Windows eh?

What are supposed Christians doing paying $4 for a cup of coffee when there are hungry people in the streets?  Sad…

As a gay Christian and Minister, I love Starbucks…  Maybe I’ll increase my habit just a little from now on… 

Thanks for posting the link to their site. I left a nice comment for them, but for some reason they deleted it. I would gladly leave another one, but they seem to be having server problems! Maybe they’re trying to figure out how they can actually boycott Microsoft and still use their computer. Guess we should all send them letters in the mail instead?

Haha, I work at Starbucks, and let me tell  you, even though we just raised our prices and introduced another lame product, our business at our region in general and our store in particular has been BOOMING lately. Way to go, Christians! Keep putting those tips into my pocket!
