Snookie Comes Out: I’m Bisexual

Jersey Shore royalty Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jennifer “JWoww” Farley reveal that Snookers is bisexual, and that they think Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is gay in a new interview with The Huffington Post.

Snooki, things got hot and heavy with Deena [another one of the "Jersey Shore" roommates] last season. Do you consider yourself bisexual?

Snooki: I would consider myself bi. I’ve done stuff with girls before. But I would never be with a girl because I like… penis. But I’ve experimented.

What about Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino? What’s the deal? Gay? Not gay?

Snooki: Do you think he’s gay?

It wouldn’t shock me. Whenever he brings a girl home something always seems to go awry and they don’t end up hooking up.

Snooki: And he gives them men’s clothing to wear.

JWoww: And his posture and the way he holds his cigarettes… everything. Listen, I know I keep talking about my best friend Joey, but his husband was closeted for 27 years of his life. And I knew him before he came out. So because of that I know… the signs. I can’t confirm or deny with Mike, but if he was, it would all make sense.

Do you talk to him about it?

JWoww: He brings it up. He’ll say, “People think I’m gay and I don’t know what they’re talking about.”

Snooki: He told me one time, “[All the talk is] making me wonder.”

Snooki’s confession certainly runs in opposition of Cynthia Nixon’s theory that nobody likes the bisexuals, wouldn’t you say?

Not every one, but most bi-sexual men are gay men with learners permits, and Bisexual Women are just whores who want attention. Honestly, I have met very few truly bisexual people. Don’t get me wrong, there are a few out there, but VERY few TRUE bisexuals.

When you have spoken to everyone who identifies as bi, then you will be qualified to make this statement. As a (truely) bi woman who has struggled with these same stereotypes, I would ask that you understand you are basing these statements on a limited understanding of a limited number of other peoples’ sexualities.

You’re certainly entitled to your opinion, but when you say that bisexual women are whores who want attention I can’t help but take offense to that. I know you said that there are indeed some, but still. I am the furthest thing from a whore. I consider myself bisexual. I’m not saying it for the attention, or to make people like me. I really do have the capability to love and be attracted to both women and men. It’s comments like that that give bisexual people a bad name.

That’s so offensive it’s not even funny. Way to stereotype an entire group of people. Saying “most” doesn’t make the statement any less uninformed or biased…. Even if someone is saying they are bisexual to escape heat, why is that so terrible? Why is it portrayed like it’s a bad thing to transition? Not everyone has the ability to just open up one day and admit to everything that they are fully gay. And no woman I have ever met who identified as bisexual seemed at all to be craving attention, or were ‘whores’, which is a terrible statement to make about ANY woman regardless of her level of sexual activity. <_< I'm bisexual. I've never even had sex! I'm just equally attracted physically and mentally to men and women, and I'd love to experience both in my lifetime, because I am blessed with being open to both sexes and genders and everything in between. If that makes me a 'whore', for wanting to engage in what my brain predisposes me to, so be it. I'm not going to feel guilt for doing what I want to do or having fun in the way I want to have fun.

And your basis for saying Cynthia Nixon was wrong is by using Snooki as an example? I’ve never watched the Jersey Shore, but I always assumed no one actually liked her, they liked watching her embarass herself. Kind of like no one likes a car wreck but can’t help but stare as they drive by. Most people I know who watch reality shows like that do it because it makes them feel better about themselves.
