So the saddest thing about homophobia, is that the primary victim of the anti gay rhetoric and activities of the homophobe, is the homophobe themselves! Seriously!
I know because I was a despicable evil homophobic piece of shit myself – and I came out as being Gay, believing my family and everyone I knew would reject me – and I came out because I was miserable and abused while in the closet, but the source of that misery – WAS MYSELF! So I came out determined that never again would I be the source of hate against who I am any more. If I would suffer attackes and bigotry – they would have to come from someone else!
And no, do not congratulate me for coming out! I’m SUPPOSED to come out! I have a right to be who I am! Don’t you dare tell me it could be so acceptable to be any other way that it’s an accomplishment to come out.
