Ann Coulter Calls President Obama ‘Flavor Flav’ Before a Cheering Crowd (of Racists)

No. Just no.

We usually try not to touch Ann Coulter stories with a fifty foot pole because it takes so goddamn long to wash the stink off of ourselves, but this remarkable minute of pure, undiluted racism requires your attention.

Speaking before a crowded CPAC audience, pretty much the Republican conference in politics today, Coulter compared Columbia University and Harvard Law School alumnus Barack Obama to Flavor Flav. And the crowd went wild. They loved it!

Yet if we called Rick Santorum “Larry the Cable Guy” or Ann Coulter “Lindsay Lohan,” we’d be accused of just talking nonsense at best.

I wouldn’t say they went “crazy” for that one. A lot of them sounded a bit like “ehh I dunno if we should laugh at that.”
Their reaction to the constantly borrowing stuff however, was kinda funny. As bad as I feel for admitting it though, I kinda gotta give her writers credit for that one; it WAS pretty good.

I don’t know about you, but every time I’ve seen Obama out, he’s had a grill and a giant clock necklace. That was like 50% “WOOooouuhhhhhhhhhhh Ann I’m pretty sure that was a low-blow even for you”.

It seemed like the “borrowing stuff” comment got way more appreciation than the Flavor Flav comment. I’m sure even some of the people there thought it was in bad taste. Ugh, Ann Coulter really makes me cringe..
