We experienced a tragic loss this week, and we’re still working through it. Whitney Houston will always be one of the most iconic figures in pop culture, and her passing is truly tragic.
Even in her less-than-fabulous moments, she out-divaed most of us on our best days, and you know it’s true. Who hasn’t attempted to emulate that bombastic belt in front of a bathroom mirror? I personally did this morning.
It’s unfortunate that the end of Houston’s life and career was overshadowed by tales of her erratic behavior, drug use, and marriage to that one guy from New Edition; let us take a moment to remember the Whitney we all know and love.

“How Will I Know” is one of the greatest pop songs of the 80′s, if not all time. This performance really does it for me. It’s just Whitney, that dress, and some fabulous neon. This song always gets people moving, and it’s a karaoke gem as well. Just try and sit still.
