Hungary may boast Europe’s biggest penises (True!), but Turkey has a national pastime we can all get onboard with. Grab a partner and a drum of olive oil because it’s Turkish Oil Wrestling time!

Oil wrestling, also called grease wrestling, is the Turkish national sport. It is so called because the wrestlers douse themselves with olive oil.

The annual Kırkpınar tournament, held in Edirne in Turkish Thrace since 1362, is the oldest continuously running, sanctioned sporting competition in the world.

We’re a bit unclear on the rules, but taint-tweaking appears to be acceptable, while chest hair may be grounds for disqualification. No shoes, no shirt, no problem? We’re so there.

I did a little read up, and traditionally(before the 1900s), apparently one match could go on for about 2 days until one man came out superior(the other one succumbing to exhaustion)… talk about supressed, Muslim homosexuality. haha!
