UB reader Kimmy sent us this perfect gay comic starring two deployed soldiers. The timing couldn’t be more appropriate, as Washington State Governor Christine Gregoire will today sign the state’s same-sex marriage bill into law.

We can’t quite make out the artist’s name there, so if you know who the creator is, please let us know so we can lavish praise upon him or her. Credit where credit is due, y’all.

When i dream about getting married to the girl I love, I imagine we’re still in our hometown. Which will more than likely never happen considering where I live

I’ve been trying to think more positively about this stuff when I can. Instead of “It’s never gonna happen where I live” try thinking “It’s only a matter of time”. ‘Cause seriously, it will happen. More and more states are recognizing gay marriage all the time now. I really do think its only a matter of time.

How timely. My partner and I are thinking about moving, somewhere, anywhere, and we’ve had to come up with a venn diagram: States where we have domestic partnership/marriage rights, States where we don’t, and states we actually would want to live in.

I wanna marry my man in Texas where we are both from and should be allowed to be married. This morning in San Antonio where I reside many couples gathered on the court steps for our annual mass wedding that is a gift from the city on Valentines day. Including many same sex couples even though it isnt legal.
