The fact that he raps means that he doesn’t actually do music. He tends to be a fraud just like the entire genre.

I shut off the show when he performed for the SECOND FREAKING TIME!!!  I could not believe with all the talent out there, the academy him perform!! Not just once… oh no! lets watch him LIP SYNC 2 TIMES!!!! I was so disgusted and posted such on FB.  I have not forgotten what he has done. Would really be happy if I never saw him on TV again.

i’ve never supported chris brown. i didn’t like him BEFORE the assault, and just assumed he was another no-talent hack trying to get more press by dating out of his league…. looks like it worked. 

R&B/Hip-Hop isn’t really my genre of music, but I’d totally support a movement to bootleg his discography and drive his income down.

I think that people should mind their own business,this young brother is getting paid while most of you dont have an education or a job but you can keep up with bull crap with other people live’s LOL stop worrying about his life and get your own,hell get GOD in your life as well, i like Chris Brown and always will people make mistakes,that’s how we grow and learn.

There have been years when they omitted an award category, say, for female rock singer, not because there wasn’t enough good female rock but because they didn’t think there were five nominees up to Grammy standards.  Often they added insult to injury by combining the female rock vocal category with the male, which meant that if one or two women did deserve a nomination, they took the place of one or two males who also deserved one, and would have gotten it if the categories had not been combined.  They canceled the disco award the year after they debuted it.

If there was nobody better than Chris Brown, they should have just cancelled or combined the award this year.We live in a time of abusers and bullies, in the music industry just as in the political industry and the religious industry and the media industry.  Yes, the abusers and bullies are all in it for the money and power because of a sense of inferiority, probably because they know deep down inside they aren’t anything like the quintessential whatever-it-is-they’re-representing-themselves-as.  Because people who aren’t bullies stand or fall on the merit of their contributions, not on what they can shove in somebody’s face.And we live in a time of victims, because all of these bullies are popular and have followers, who are both victim and victimizer, both enabling the bullying their idols engage in and enabled by that to bully people in their own lives.  And we just accept this from all quarters.Not only do we accept it, but we decide that we’re going to reward the bullies.  And do the bullies use the occasion to display how much they’ve evolved and matured and earned it?  No, no they don’t.  They use it to shove in the faces of those who they are bullying.  ”You think there’s something socially unacceptable about my violent past and current behavior?  Well I don’t care because I have the respect of my peers.”And, adding insult to injury, it’s the people who don’t accept his shockingly violent, abusive, unhinged behavior who are the haters, not him.  That’s the hallmark of an abuser.  It’s always the other guy’s—or girl’s—fault.  They project their own attitudes and flaws onto others, and they believe there is some reason why they deserve better than they are meting out to others.
