Chris Brown Wanted by Miami Police for Felony Robbery, Faces 5 Years in Jail

Chris Brown channels the boogeyman in Miami.

According to the Miami Beach police incident report, Chris Brown and rapper Tyga were leaving the Cameo nightclub on Miami Beach on Feb. 19th when a fan followed him outside to his car.

When Brown got into his Black Bentley, Christal Shanae Spann pulled out her iPhone and took a picture of him sitting in the car. Spann told police Brown got angry, reached through his car window and snatched the phone from her hands.

The singer then told her, “Bitch, you ain’t going to put that on no website,” according to the report. Brown then rolled up his window and drove away with her iPhone.

Brown is now facing “violent felony” charges for robbery by sudden snatching, which sounds kind of porny to us, but that’s neither here nor there. If convicted, Brown is facing a maximum sentence of five years in jail.

Five years without Chris Brown? Don’t tease us, Miami Police Department!

Sure, he’s got a nice package, but why do people continue to give this guy a chance when he repeatedly does things like THIS? And THIS?

I am not surprised that Chris Brown is continuing to treat women like sh*t. Isn’t it time as a culture we stop making jerks rich?! There is so much talent out there and it is unclear to me why we are not celebrating people that deserve money and fame instead of ‘woman beaters.’

I’ll believe it when I see it. He just keeps getting chance after chance and as long as he’s making money for his record label, he’ll get bailed out every time. Eventually this kind of thing may catch up with him, but not for many years. Hopefully he won’t end up as the next O.J. Simpson, though he certainly is showing many of the same personality traits – beating women black and blue and he’s definitely narcissistic.

I can see why my statement could be taken as a defense of Brown. I assure you, it was not. It was more a general comment on race and the prison system. He deserves to be imprisoned, and it’s simply more likely that he will be due to his skin color.
