Iconic Madonna Moments Over the Years
Y2K brought the ‘Music’ album which meant cowboy Madonna, baby #2 with British director Guy Richie and another slew of top notch music videos. Madonna’s ‘Music’ video which featured a pimped out Madonna making it rain at the strip club with an awesome cameo from Sasha Baron Cohen as Ali G. Madonna demonstrated once again that she has her finger on the pulse of what is hot.
Not every collaboration with Richie was a success as was the case “Swept Away’. Many of Madonna’s previous film ventures had met a similar fate (I don’t care, I still love ‘Who’s That Girl’).
Madonna would set out on an ambitious tour a few years later which was a combination of ‘Ray Of Light’ and ‘Music’. This was my first time to see Madonna in concert and she certainly did not disappoint.
