Iconic Madonna Moments Over the Years

After the underwhelming ‘American Life’ album Madonna released ‘Confessions On A Dancefloor’ which I listened to every day for the next 2 years. It was exactly what Madonna had written the manual on: amazing, catchy pop music. Her tour was amazing. Around this time people began to ask themselves if she was ever going to ride off into the diva sunset, but she simply refused to stop making hits.

She channeled Farrah Fawcett in the video for ‘Hung Up’ which sampled Abba’s ‘Gimmie, Gimmie, Gimmie’ to provide the backdrop for another brilliant pop single which would spend the next few months dominating the nightclub scene as she had been doing for the past 20 years.
