Madonna Enlists the Boys from Kazaky (and Their Heels) for Girl Gone Wild Video

Madonna must have noticed that every time we’ve written about the stiletto-wearing Ukrainian boyband Kazaky here on UB, you all go absolutely school girl crazy.

How else can you explain Madonna enlisting Kazaky for her Girl Gone Wild video?

Tapping fellow artists at the height of their stardom for an assist in selling her own body of work has pretty much become the queen’s Deus ex Madonna over the past decade or so.

Kazaky joins – ohh, off the top of my head – Justin Timberlake, Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears, Pharrell, M.I.A., Christina Aguilera, Missy Elliot and yes, Sacha Baron Cohen – in the Madonna stardom vampire bite club.

Yay?

The video is a return to Erotica Madonnica, and if you love that type of thing, then you’ll be gaga for more of the same. Zing!

This little trip down memory lane has brought a question back to mind though.

Total ripoff of Gaga’s video setup and themes. Also, HATE how she turned Like a Prayer into some family/christian friendly PTL gospel number for the Super Bowl, and then seems to go back to her old ways here. Pick your voice and stick to it!

No offense to Madonna, or Lady Gaga for that matter, but it seems the only way to connote “gayness” is to put men in women’s clothing or shoes. How about two men kissing? Or in a bed together? I’m a gay man. That’s what I do. I don’t wear high heels.
