What Do the “Radical Homosexual Agenda” and the Titanic Have in Common?
I don’t want to give the bigots over at Truth in Action Ministries too much airtime, but this video they recently posted left a bad taste in my mouth, and I need support to work through it.
On the anniversary of the Titanic’s sinking, this pack of nut jobs has decided to equate the tragedy with the “radical homosexual agenda” that is apparently “undermining the American family.”
The logic in this video is extremely backwards and offensive – make sure to pay attention to that bit at the end about how “the military could be used in a persecution of those that are viewed as enemies of the new state belief system.” That’s some Orwellian nonsense.
I’ve never been on a gay cruise, but I imagine that there is a constant line towards the front of the boat so everyone can take turns being Kate Winslet. Is this some clever attempt to capitalize on the buzz from the new 3D Titanic movie? Do they know who the audience is for that? How many of these folks do you think had to sit in horror when they realized the theater was filled gays and supporters of the gays?
