Amendment One is for all intents and purposes North Carolina’s souped-up version of Prop 8 which seeks to add a ban on same-sex marriage to the state’s constitution – even though a law is already on the books making such marriages illegal.

With the vote coming up shortly, here’s all you need to know: Yes on Amendment One is bad. No on Amendment One is less bad because again, gay marriage is already illegal in the state.

Which brings us to this video. Whoever put this homo-loving sign near Alex Wiles’ house ought-a known not to do so.

I have spoken to the Kannopolis, North Carolina police department and they are looking into what will be classified a crime if the shotgun was fired onto property that includes a home or business.

For the love of god, vote no on Amendement One and (support gun control).

OK, there’s bound to be more to the story. Surely he was cited for firing his gun in a residential area, right? I know this is god-fearin’, gun-lovin’ North Carolina, but even here in Kentucky we have laws against this stuff.

I love the smorgasboard approach to rights. Pick the ones that work for you, and leave the rest for the losers at the end of the line. I am sure that he will hypocritically claim he was exercising his right to free speech, while vandalizing property not his own in order to prevent free speech. Gotta love those southern boys.
