Amendment One Advocate, Berean Baptist Church’s Pastor Sean Harris discusses the unsubtle influences of gender roles on the behavior of youth in America today in this video clip.

Haha! Just kidding! Harris instead authorizes parents on behalf of that all-loving God of his to beat the gayness out of their children. Child abuse is only a crime if the lord is not complicit in it, y’all!

I’m with you, Mr. Petrozino. It feels me with sadness and anger at what that ”pastor” is relaying to his congregation, but I’m more worried about all the parents out there in that congregation that are agreeing and LAUGHING with what that man is saying… It is really a concern and I’m worried for those poor kids that could be homosexual and will now, without a doubt, have to remain hidden because their HORRIBLE “parents”, if that’s what you want to call them, would allow and practice such horrid methods… It is truly a sad day and I think that if any parent would do or allow any kind of action like that to any child, they should have the proper autorities called on them and those children put into a more loving and accepting atmosphere.

As a child who happened to be gay, and was beaten for that reason… We see how well that attitude worked. The child abuse from my past has haunted me for my entire life, because of people being told that it’s okay to physically and emotionally beat down your children because of the way they were born.

I’m 21 years old and I still fear for my life sometimes because of my father trying to “beat the gay” out of me. Does that mean when he gets to heaven, he’s going to get a golden star for ostracizing his son? I lived with that man for 18 years until I was kicked out the second I graduated high school. I endured beating after beating, physical and emotional, and it’s going to affect me for the rest of my life.

The fact that this man is okay with this just makes me absolutely disgusted. His parents should have beat him when they realized what a closed-minded, piece of shit bigot they raised.

Ignorance. This man will never know how adversely these teachings have effected kids all over the world, including me. It didn’t make me straight, it will never make me straight, and I’m a thousand percent more glad that I am gay because of what I went through. It made me who I am, and I came out surprisingly well-adjusted, but all of the poor kids who have been killing themselves, or being set on fire, or being bullied in school, or living on the street because their parents could give a shit less about them… I can’t say it did the same for them.
