NBC’s Gay Surrogacy Sitcom ‘The New Normal’ Looks Soooo Good (Video)

I don’t mean to gush, but Ryan Murphy’s new gay surrogacy sitcom The New Normal looks like the best thing to happen to NBC since, well…searching for something to say besides Will & Grace…still searching…damn it…since Will & Grace.

Starring the sexy guy who spent most of The Hangover on top of the roof, The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Nene Leakes, Anna Faris’ less famous and considerably more affordable doppelgänger, and Hannah’s gay college boyfriend (where my Girls fans at?), I can tell you with full confidence that I will be Huluing the hell out of this.

Check out the trailer – Mariah Carey! Calista Gingrich! Stripey pants! – and then tell me in the comments how I’m so stupid and tasteless and how The New Normal is an embarrassment to the gay community and blah blah blah. You’re not my real dad and I don’t care what you say. It looks good and I’ll be tuning in with my future babydaddy Nicky V and maybe our surrogate someday. Whatever.

Honestly appalling that this is the stereotypical same old same bs we have had in the past. I dont know any gays that these guys would be representing. So take this show and put it on your mainstream hyped media show and pump as many gay dollars as you can out of it. It will be cancelled by end of season for sure. And you better believe I will be tuning in for every damn episode, If I have to pin my eyelids open and drink a bottle of ABSOLUT Vodka (Gays drink that vodka) then I will.

It’ll be cutesy cute while it lasts, which won’t be for long. The saccharine, whimsy sweetness of that lead actress is insufferably one-dimensional and unattractive and couldn’t possibly support character and plot development beyond the novelty of the show’s premise.
