You can now enjoy the brilliant sounds of A Joyful Noise, the fifth studio album from queer disco punks Gossip. To celebrate, they’ve dropped the video for their new single, “Move In The Right Direction.” Beth Ditto, Brace Paine and Hannah Blilie look fantastic, I can’t get enough of this song. I award extra points for back up dancers!

I agree that it’s good to see fat chicks represented in the media, and I too love Beth’s music, but the “real women” thing has to stop. It’s detrimental both to size acceptance and to women’s rights in general when some women are viewed as “more real” than others. It also makes you sound kind of sour and bigoted against thin girls, who are just as real as my 250 pound self.
