The Obamas Discuss Gay Pride: Just One More Reason I Want the Them to Adopt Me
In case a public announcement in support of gay marriage wasn’t enough, President Obama and my girl Michelle (because we’re obviously on a first-name basis) are giving us a few more reasons to want to be included in their Fabulous First-Family.
The vision that is Michelle Obama answered questions asked to her Twitter account. Love it! The realness starts at 5:18 when the First Lady tells us about her family’s discussions about marriage equality.
“It comes down to the values of fairness and equality that we want to pass on to our girls.”
Love it even more!
Then, President Obama made his “Happy Gay Pride Month” video.
“This June, let’s take some time to celebrate teachers and students who take a stand against bullying. Openly gay and lesbian service members who defend our country with honor and integrity. Families and friends who have seen their own attitudes evolve.”
Need another reason to want to be an honorary member of the Obama family? Getting to play hide-and-seek with Barack. Duh.
