Marvel’s LGBT Superheroes Wish You a Happy Pride

Artist Rey Arzeno absolutely kills it with his print featuring Marvel’s stable of LGBT heroes wishing you a happy Pride.

Anole, Shatterstar, Rictor, Karma, Mystique, newlywed Northstar, Daken, Karolina Dean, Xavin, Wiccan and Hulkling all strike a pose in this sunset beach shot.

A few things; Yes, I know that Mystique and Daken are both villains, but both have briefly served as X-Men (Dark or otherwise) , so don’t feed me any nonsense about not knowing my comics in the comments. Pshh!

Second, isn’t Karolina dating Julie Power these days and no Xavin? And yes, I know her codename is Lucy in the Sky. Hush.

Third, Wiccan looks a little awkward in his scarf on the beach. Or is that just me?

She was always meant to be. Nightcrawler was supposed to be her kid (as the ‘father’) with Destiny, if I’m not mistaken, but it was too controversial to do it like that, so they made Azazel his father instead. Destiny was still her lover, though often not exactly stated outright.
