Angelina’s Dad Defends Brad’s Mom’s Gross Anti-Gay Letter

Angelina Jolie’s dad, Jon Voight, is on the talking news heads circuit sticking up for his future son-in-law’s mother, Jane Pitt’s, anti-gay letter published last week in her local paper.

Angeline Jolie’s dad, 73, spoke out to FOX411 during a recent interview about Pitt’s pro-Mitt Romney, anti-gay marriage letter (published by the Springfield News-Leader June 14), which, since its release, has garnered intense backlash — and a few death threats from angry readers.

Telling the host he agreed with the views of Brad Pitt’s mom, Jon Voight said, “Good for her!” (The ultra-conservative actor is no stranger to political controversy himself — he once denounced President Obama for championing “anti-Semitism throughout the world.”)

I am genuinely baffled by the behavior of these two adults. Statistically, one of the Jolie-Pitt children are LGBT. Do these grandparents not wish to have a relationship with their grandchildren? Because you just know that mama Angelina doesn’t suffer homophobic fools!

Well , I seem to remember reading Mr. Voight didn’t seem to want to bother with his daughter after he dumped her mother,( until the world noticed her that is ). So my guess is he wouldn’t be bothered unless their face appears on People. Real stand up kind of guy!

I think people are entitled to their own views. The people who are anti-gay marriage seem to mostly be old. They will die off soon enough. We shouldn’t let ourselves get so worked up if some christian grandma thinks gays shouldn’t marry. Just remember, when she was growing up, gays could legally be lobotomized and propaganda was shown in schools advertizing the evils of gays. Death threats against grandmas are never necessary.
