13-Year-Old Boy’s Organs Mutilated After Men Force Compressed Air Pump Into His Anus

There’s brutal, and then there’s the absolutely brutal story of Du Chuanwang, a 13-year-old who was held down while two men forced a compressed air nozzle into his anus in an attempt to inflate the boy.

It didn’t go well.

Chinese media reported that the boy, Du Chuanwang, who lives in Shandong Province on China’s east coast, suffered from dozens of puncture wounds in his intestines and multiple organ failure.

The boy helped out at the auto repair shop, where two co-workers allegedly inserted the nozzle of an air pump into his anus and filled his body with air. The suspects have been detained.

Ai Qingze, the head of the Shandong hospital where Du received initial treatment, told the China Daily newspaper that upon seeing his inflated belly, the surgeons there cut his abdomen open to expel the gas and saw that his small intestines were bleeding. Ai said the boy’s liver, kidneys and stomach were also damaged.

Du was in a coma for eight days following the assault. He woke up three days ago and was transferred to the intensive care unit at Bayi Children’s Hospital in Beijing on Thursday.

Du may be out of the pot, but he’s still in the frying pan. The dozens of explosive ruptures in his intestines have caused necrosis in parts of his body. The boy’s face is now literally rotting off.

The men who brutally destroyed this child’s body and life are being detained, which doesn’t exactly sound synonymous with thrown in jail forever and ever, but we’ll see.

One thing is for sure; I don’t want to hear any complaints out of you for the next week.

The same way I made a joke about Amy Winehouse dying (I wasn’t surprised; they told her to go to rehab and she said “no, no, no”) and dead babies being found in pills. Tasteless doesn’t necessarily mean unfunny. And yes, he did. It was funny. You people need to lighten up. It’s assholes like you that have pushed political correctness so far that no one can make a joke anymore.

What on earth are you going on about? A boy had a tube forced up his rear end, was blown up, had his insides ruptured, went catatonic, and has his face rotting off somewhere in a hospital. How can anyone in good conscience find anything funny in that, anything to laugh about? The boy was tortured and is in what must be huge amounts of pain, and I need to “lighten up” about it? I’m sorry I don’t find the cruel treatment of others funny, really, I’ll be sure to be more considerate of your sense of humor next time.

I’m with Lucy 100%. There is absolutely not a thing funny in this story. Perhaps your discomfort in reading about such horrific torture gave you the need to find a small piece of comic relief in it… but all your comment did was show what an insensitive, ignorant, in-compassionate and ignorant person you are. I don’t find the joke funny either, but I do support the freedom of speech so he can joke all he wants, but in supporting free speech I really can’t say anything about your comments either. all im saying is your gonna find people whos sense of humor will seem wrong to you, and your gonna have to just live with it cause you really can’t stop them. but now in all seriousness towards the actual topic, I hope these guys don’t get excuted in a standard fashion, I truly believe they should be put through the same torture they put the boy through.

Calm down. Horrific shit like this happens all over the world, all the time; mostly in places where its so happenstance, that it doesn’t get reported on. If you’re going to be so against a little humor in the face of calamity, then prepare yourself for a life of loneliness, dread, and misery.
Side note: not trying to approve of his comment, but I’m just saying that to live your life to the fullest, it might be beneficial for you to lighten up a bit.

Yeah, in China, “detained” is probably more horrible than you’d assume, given the word. I’d imagine it’s more of a Guantanimo Bay type of “detained” than the “eh, let’s just hold them a bit for questioning” kind.

If true, this is beyond appalling. The glitch in the story is that air nozzles work by pressing into the small metal part of an air valve which actuates the pressurized air from the hose. I think there is some question about whether this story is accurate. You cannot just go to a pressure hose in a gas station and make air come out without some mechanical interface. I can handle being grossed out by a story but this one is suspicious and, if faked, cruel.
