I have yet to see one of the “Step Up” movies, yet the soundtracks remain inescapable. I was feeling the Timbaland and Ne-Yo collaboration, “Hands in the Air”, but that’s about it.
Jennifer Lopez recently debuted the video for her contribution to the “Step Up: Revolution” sound track, and I am not impressed.
I’ve stood by Jen ever since her “If You Had My Love” days, but the video for “Goin’ In” has me goin’ out the door. I’m especially uncomfortable when J.Lo informs me she is about to, “Go orangutan/bananas!” I will happily do almost anything Lil’ Jon says, but I have to sit this one out.
I’ll hold off on the Jessie J comparisons, but you’d think someone with the budget for a personal nipple tweaker could afford to drop a little dough on her music video. What did they do, film this in J.Lo’s garage with leftovers from the “Waiting For Tonight” set?
Since we’re being honest, I want to officially say that I don’t understand the appeal of Flo Rida. Why does he always wear those sunglasses? What is he hiding?
I love you, J.Lo. I don’t love you enough to get your name tattooed on my junk, but I know you can do better than this. The rocks that you’ve got don’t fool me.
