Relax, Take Mika’s Switch from Bisexual to Gay Eeeeeeeeasy
Everybody's gonna love (Mika) today.
Once upon a time, Brit pop star Mika assured listeners that he was bisexual, though he hated putting a label on sexuality.
But that’s not quite exactly what he meant. Now in an interview with Instinct, Mika opens up about being a gay man.
“If you ask me am I gay, I say yeah. Are these songs about my relationship with a man? I say yeah. And it’s only through my music that I’ve found the strength to come to terms with my sexuality beyond the context of just my lyrics. This is my real life.”
Let’s just go ahead and nip any bisexual outrage in the bud here. Relax. Take it eeeeeeeeasy. It would appear that Mika never identified as bisexual in the first place.
