Toyota’s Latest Bikini Babe is Packing Heat (Video)
Sex sells, even in Japan. Though it’s hard to imagine Toyotas flying off American lots if this commercial were to air in the states.
Or maybe I’m just not well versed enough in the art of tricking straight boys into sporting automoboners.
The ad for the all-new Corolla, which is known in some markets as the Auris, features 19-year-old Ukrainian-born male model Stav Strashko strutting in front of the car in a red bikini, before losing his jacket and posing in front of the car topless.
The taglines ‘‘not in trend, not casual, not for everyone” flash on screen while the androgynous model, who appears female in most of the shots, stares into the camera.
Worth noting, Strashko does not identify as transgender. “I’ve never thought about becoming a woman,” says the Ukrainian model. I feel very comfortable in my own body just the way it is.
Whatever, we love it. Fun commercial, Toyota!
