Kelly Clarkson Gives You A Reason to Acknowledge Football
When you think of Kelly Clarkson, the last thing on your mind might be football (unless you’re thinking about her National Anthem performance at the Super Bowl earlier this year, because…girl). BUT, she has teamed up with a little brand called, ummm…Pepsi? to give you a reason to root for the Dallas Cowboys. And, from what I can gather, this is something that everyone outside of Texas doesn’t want to do.
The inaugural winner of American Idol and Fort Worth native (and the reason I breathe) has written and recorded a song for the Cowboys and Pepsi Anthems called “Get Up (A Cowboy’s Anthem)” and, yes, you need it. Wouldn’t you know, a free download is available on the Pepsi Anthems website!
Let me say, I’m in no way associated with Pepsi because I don’t drink soda and I like my teeth to not be brown. For those of you who aren’t football fans (Why do you hate America?), you should still download it because you can simply close your eyes and pretend like it has nothing to do with sports. It’s actually a pretty legitimate dance anthem in its own right. You can listen here:

You can expect many more football, sugar-filled soda anthems from totally unrelated artists coming your way! Along with Kelly Clarkson (Dallas Cowboys), you can expect new anthems from Kid Rock (Detroit Lions), Ice Cube (Oakland Raiders), Wiz Khalifa (Pittsburgh Steelers), and Travie McCoy (New York Giants).
