We’re Officially Revoking Rupert Everett’s Gay Card for Saying Two Dads Can’t Cut It

Rupert Everett – former best gay of Madonna herself, trailblazing actor who publicly came out at the height of his fame, star of gay dad film The Next Best Thing – can’t think of anything worse than being a child raised by two fathers.

What kind of f#@kery is this?

The 53-year-old actor has been rounded on by gay rights groups after saying: “I can’t think of anything worse that being brought up by two gay dads.”

“She [Rupert's mother, Sara] thinks children need a father and a mother and I agree with her. Some people might not agree with that. Fine! That’s just my opinion.

“I’m not speaking on behalf of the gay community. In fact, I don’t feel like I’m part of any ‘community’. The only community I belong to is humanity and we’ve got too many children on the planet, so it’s good not to have more.”

With that said, by the powers invested in me as your big, gay shepherd and unicorn tamer, I’d like to go ahead and officially revoke the hell out of Rupert Everett’s gay card.

You don’t want to be a member of the LGBT community? No problem at all, Mr. Everett. We’re no longer interested in having you or anyone else who chooses to allow a perverse self-hate and shame trump actual science on the subject of child rearing on the team.

Every single study ever commissioned by every single reputable source has come to the identical conclusion that children raised by same-sex parents fare exactly as well as those raised by a father and a mother.

Turn in your horn and gay card to my desk by the end of the workday, Mr. Everett. We’re done here.

I’ve only had a mom since I lost my father at age 7. Although she did her best and I love her very much, I do wish she had been able to find someone suitable as a life-long partner that I could have learned to trust as another parent. As a kid that desperately needed love and support (doubly so, dealing with the death of my dad) I wouldn’t have blinked if Mom found another mother to share our lives with. I never stopped to think “I hope Mom finds someone, but IT BETTER BE A MAN” and I’d be surprised if any child, anywhere, ever did.

personally i am far more concerned with dreadful human beings, for the mere fact they can make babies (and do… lots of ‘em) beat their kids, expose them to immeasurable horrors/trauma, glue their hands to a wall & beat them within an inch of their lives then beg for leniency because they didn’t mean it. dreadful people make unfit parents… but, hey that’s just my opinion. i used to see mr. everett at the gold’s gym. he seemed a bit full of himself… i am sure it pains him that his career has gone down the toilet & probably just needed a little publicity. apparently, he thinks botox a bad idea too. he of all people, should know better than to piss off a gaggle of gays…

I dont care if he’s not part of the LGBT community. He can go stick it. There are plenty of GOOD actors and actresses and people that are out that made it out there. Just because he couldn’t take the heat, i guess it’s time to get out of those leather pants. I say take his horn and grind it up into dust; take his gay cord and shrivel it up. There is NO RETURN!
