This is in Missouri. What he basically was saying is that he took speeches from the 1950s and 60s deploring racial integration and replaced it with the word gay rights to demonstrate that the same arguments that are being made against the LGBT community today were used 50-60 years ago against racial minorities. This wasn’t him advocating but making a mockery of those who were opposing such protections.
