Help Gay, Indie Game Producer Make ‘Salem’ Board Game A Reality
UPDATE: He did it! He did it! Salem has been funded! Muchas smooches to everybody who kicked in a few bucks or helped spread the words about Josh and his masterpiece! We bought two copies for our bar, Booty’s, in New Orleans. Game night, anybody?
Joshua Balvin loves boardgames. He loves them so much he hosts at least one game night a week in his Seattle apartment. If you have ever had the pleasure of attending one of his game nights, you probably drank and laughed more than you have in a while. Joshua is a self-confessed game nerd and after years of developing and testing his “baby”, Joshua is asking for your help bringing his innovative strategy board game ‘Salem’ to market.
As of today Josh is down the home stretch to making his dream of bringing ‘Salem’ to market. Did I mention he has some amazing prizes for people who contribute to making his dream a reality including autographed copies of the game, limited edition art prints from gay artist Levi Hastings and he will even host games of Salem (*as long as you live close to a few major cities!).
I should add that Joshua poured so much of his personal time and resources into the research and development of this project that he has been interviewed by numerous national publications. The final product is going to be a beautifully designed game that will make a great gift or an awesome excuse to have friends over for a game night.
