Alexander Skarsgård Basically Makes The World Explode With Sexual Tension
Calvin Klein has really upped their ante with their new “commercial.” This short film by Fabien Baron, entitled “Provocations,” starring True Blood’s Alexander Skarsgård and Suvi Koponen has (virtually) erased my memory of Calvin Klein’s newest underwear ad that premiered during the Super Bowl two days ago.
I can only assume that Calvin Klein is responding to the fact that Michael Kors has decided to actually make some attractive clothing in the past couple years and seems to be fully investing himself in reviving his name/brand. Michael Kors has even left his beloved director’s chair on the set of Project Runway, which can only mean that he has found something better to do with his time than listen to Heidi Klum remind the world at least once per episode that Michael Kors has won the CFDA Lifetime Achievement Award.
And now everyone wins! Michael Kors is no longer making ugly clothes, Heidi Klum has replaced Michael Kors with the much more adorable Zac Posen, Calvin Klein releases a new line of seamless underwear, and Alexander Skarsgård rolls around in dirt and fire (in slow motion) while managing to lift Suvi Koponen’s jean jacket away from her chest so provocatively that glass shatters.
