Marc Jacobs Models For Marc Jacobs … Again

Marc Jacobs’ latest modeling venture features a presumably naked Marc Jacobs in a 4-for-a-quarter style photo series of the fashion designer popping, sipping, splashing, and gripping a can of Diet Coke. Enticed?

But there’s more! He’s also designing a limited edition collection of bottles and cans for the diet soft drink’s 30th anniversary. Who knows how long this relationship will last, but I assume the people at Diet Coke will have more sense than Jacobs’ ex-boyfriend Jason Preston, exhibit a little self-restraint, and keep themselves from rushing to the nearest tattoo parlor to have Jacobs’ name stamped on a body part.

 

All bubbles (and ad campaigns) eventually burst, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the ride. After all, did anyone really get sick of seeing Marc Jacobs posing for his own cologne ad campaign? Obviously not Marc Jacobs.

This might just be the most significant LGBT endorsement of Diet Coke since Lady Gaga wore those cans as hair curlers.
