Lil' Poundcake doll

Yes, Alaska’s Lil’ Poundcake Doll Is Real, and We Already Bought Ours

Any true fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race knows about Lil’ Pound Cake, Alaska Thunderfuck and Lineysha Sparx’s delightfully dirty drag daughter from a Season 5 mini-challenge.

Lil’ Pound Cake wore way too much makeup and a permanent scowl, defiantly held up her middle finger, her catchphrase was “You’re not my real dad and you never will be,” and her hobbies included riding dirty and “being a straight up motherfucking dick pig.”

Well, now you can own your very own Lil’ Poundcake doll — yes, really! Thunderfuck is selling them on her website for $50. She has “middle-finger enabled hand joints, feather boa and tiara details, and she even talks when you squeeze her bloated belly.”

And for $90, you can buy the exclusive Poundcake package which includes the doll, a Lil’ Poundcake t-shirt or tank-top, a CD and a pin.

We asked Thunderfuck about her newly released doll. She said:

I agree that Lil’ Poundcake is a part of the resistance. She stands up boldly against antiquated norms of heteronormativity and acceptable commercial beauty. She is liberated. She is a freedom fighter. And she also robs banks, which I think is great.

The doll is sure to become a fan collector’s item, especially seeing as Alaska was recently crowned as the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars 2 last year.

During All-Stars 2, Alaska even dressed up as Lil’ Pound Cake as one of her runway looks (complete with scowl and middle fingers). Thuderfuck also told Lil’ Pound Cake’s origin story in her music video for “Puppet,” which she released last fall — apparently Gertrude Poundcakenstein went mad after losing a junior drag pageant. Tragic.

You can watch the hyperactive commercial for the Lil’ Pound Cake doll below. It stars Season 4 competitor Jiggly Caliente, Season 3 winner Raja and Alaska herself, and is in Japanese for some delightfully weird reason (and there’s also a NSFW version showing Lil’ Poundcake as a toilet tramp):

  • paperheart

why do you call her Thunderfuck half the time, just write Alaska

  • It is a journalist style of writing to refer to people via their surname. Because Alaska’s full drag name is Alaska Thunderfuck she is referred to as Thunderfuck after the first instance of using her full name.

  • Brooke Schmidt

It isn’t a third “mystery” queen. The other person in the video is Alaska Thunderfuck. Um, duh.

  • David Gardner

    But 90 dollars?

You mean people are actually gonna buy that doll? Well Alrighty Then I Guess!
