Soulja Boy Calls Fans ‘White Faggots’ On Facebook

Rapper Soulja Boy clearly hasn’t been paying attention to the news for the past week or so. I mean, how could he miss THIS? Picking up where Kobe Bryant and Tracy Morgan left off, Soulja Boy took to his Facebook page to give us all another steaming pile of homophobia.

There’s obviously quite a bit of hate going on here, and based on his comments, I think it’s safe to assume it was coming from both sides. Still, we absolutely believe that celebrities should never use their podium to spread hate. Like this, for example:

“I’m gonna keep talking sh*t to these white f*ggots until they unlike my page. fu*king weirdo stalkers!”

Not helping matters is the fact that Soulja Boy later put out a statement insisting he was hacked, and that former disgruntled employees are to blame for the homophobic tirade.

“I had administrators on my account that no longer work with me. The hackers used these old accounts to post hateful messages. This was not done by me or anyone on my team and I’m upset that I am being labeled as a racist and homophobic person.”

Except here’s the thing, in the screenshot above you can clearly see that DeAndre Way, Soulja Boy himself, is the only administrator on the page. It would appear that Soulja boy isn’t just a homophobe, he’s also a liar.

  • His story is plausible.  Facebook allows you to choose who of your administrators shows up as a page owner.

Whether or not to believe him should not be based on this.

  • i went to his page and of course they are gone which makes sense… however i looked thru his page and honestly he really doesnt post much except for pictures… i can believe that maybe a former assistant could have posted those things… and it doesnt look like he personally goes on there daily… i could see him having his assistant going on there and checking up on his facebook for him… idk he may or may not have done it but by the look of his page it is looks like he didnt…

  • Totally agree. It’s pretty easy to see if someone’s demeanor changes.

I’d have to agree, there’s room for doubt here.  I was scrupulous of the Tracy Morgan story until he himself admitted what he had done.  Here, though, there’s plausible deniability.

In terms of celebrity pattern (excluding Mel Gibson, of course, and now Tracy Morgan), hate speech usually occurs in fast, unedited blurbs that are difficult to capture and easily reproduce.  This just smells more like a set-up, in my opinion.

EDIT: With that said, someone who up until recently worked for Soulja boy really, REALLY doesn’t like him.

Wait, I have always understood that Soulja Boy was gay. You mean he ain’t gay?

  • How is he still relevant? He had one “hit” I think his 15 minutes are over.

That’s what he called Eminem last night. Poor guy, can’t let the best night of his life go.

  • after 300 years of being called nigger, negro, slave & many other shitty names.. i think white people can handle a few names ! SUCK IT UP PRINCESS souljah boy has every right to fight back

He really isnt on facebook too much except to post pics, so I dont really think it was him.

  • Michael Cooke

Facebook as a function of being so very popular is as likely to get hacked as any windows computer. The fact that he so strongly denies homophobia really helps me believe him, simply ’cause a hip hop star really has very little to lose being openly homophobic.

Excuse me? Yes, let a black disgrace talk about how white people enslaved him. His forefathers would be *so proud*! There are many black people who are just as sucessful as white people, or more sucessful. The colour of your skin does not define how sucessful you are. And its not white people who hold down the black community, they do a damn good job of that themselves.
