Victoria Jackson’s Insanely Homophobic, Nonsensical TV Interview

"Hair accessory outrage!"

OMGlee, y’all. This woman is off her meds. Victoria Jackson, of 80’s SNL and squeaky-voiced fame, made quite a splash last week when she blogged about the “Disgusting” gay kiss on Glee. (We thought it was sweet, FYI.)

CNN invited her onto Showbiz tonight to embarrass the shit out of Bible thumping bigots to say her piece. It didn’t go well for Jackson, bless her heart. She not only rides the crazy train into the station, she straight up shovels coal into the fire and blows the whistle. Her answers are nonsensical, loopy, and deeply offense. “Muslims kill gays,” anyone?

It’s pretty much the best thing you’ll watch on the internet all day!

To say that Jackson comes across as a lunatic is putting it mildly. We sincerely feel for the poor woman’s teenage daughter!

What was your favorite part of Jackson’s ranting?

  • NEW STD?! Is HPV what she’s talking about b/c it’s far from new.

  • Oh my. The poor dear flipped her lid… Put her back in the past where she belongs. She clearly has something more wrong with her than just ADHD or something. She’s missing a few quarters that’s for sure. Had this kiss been between a couple of a different race, her comments would be discriminatory, and isn’t that illegal? But because it’s about two gay guys, instead, it’s a media frenzy, and she gets the attention she craves. She’s clearly missed being in the limelight since her not so successful SNL days. I wish her all the best, and I mean that… She clearly needs all the luck she can get.

  • Please and everything you did on Saturday Night LIve was fine right. Get a LIFE Victoria. Its about time thay ALL people are accepted no matter what their sexual orientation is. It is so sad to see this kind of behavior you display being given so much publicity. It saddens me to think that your daughter is being brought up to believe that NOT everyone is entitled to be treated the same.

She’s not even relevant to pop culture these days so I don’t know why they would have her on a panel discussing anything.

  • also…why is it when bible-thumpers have no other argument, they go for that ‘its cool. i have gay friends’ crap? obviously you dont care about them or their rights if youre spouting nonsense like that.

  • did anyone else notice that her shirt says “comunist”? it’s not even spelled correctly. Jeez.

Ah, What-a Quack! She is just funny. I hope she keeps her stupidness up because she makes the religious nuts look so stupid.

I am always behind people like Lady Gaga,Jewel, P!nk, not because of their music but for their words. Glee falls into the same concept of what is right in pop culture.

They deliver a very Important message to the YOUTH of today, ITS fine to be LGBT, or str8 , Whatever you are its OK!!!

With all the teen suicides Its about time for !!ALL Youth!! to feel Happy with who they are.

Hell when I was a kid the closest thing we had was 90210. hahhahaha!!!!

It was retched growing up feeling like I am a freak for being gay.

She is a walking talking blonde joke… What a judgemental, closeminded pinhead! I feel sorry for her daughter. I think the scene between the two guys was sexy and sweet – loved it – absolutely loved it.

  • Ashley Valencia

One thing – how many more times can they fit that kiss into the interview without seeing repetitive? Lol. But yeah this woman is CRAZY like a squash.

  • Kit Foxley

Another Tea Partier proves an unequivocal lack of knowledge about the world in general. Geez, it’s not just a lack of knowledge it looks like a flat out refusal to learn the facts on ANYTHING.

I am completely in love with the line “She not only rides the crazy train into the station, she straight up shovels coal into the fire and blows the whistle.”

  • …I think she’s Crazy. She didn’t actually answer a single Question.

  • Toni-Lee Lorenzi

Her argument is far from convincing. Her voice is hard to take seriously. Her look is wacked out. She’s one of the many who make christians look like devils. Shame shame shame. She hardly knows what the hell she is really talking about. And I can’t stand when they play the “I have gay friends too” card! NOT ANYMORE!!!!! It is people like her that are making people turn away from the bible and many religions. And why did she bring up muslims again???

Every word that drooled from her mouth “spits in God’s face.” Why does she not realize that?

  • She’s doing a comedy bit, right?

  • Sex has been around for years don’t blame the “gays”. There have been countless heterosexual kisses on television some went farther than kissing but that’s not brought up as “destroying the innocence of children or pushing them away from god” no, even though half the time the straight people kissing are not in a marriage, some are cheating on there spouses, and some are underage but that’s all okay right? That isn’t the part af the “bible” you want to read from right? It is in the script and just a show! Get over your self Victoria J.!

Okay first of all WOW. I personally don’t really think that homosexuality is the way to go but that is my personal opinion. I am a Christian and firmly believe what the Bible states about this topic; but this lady right here is just down right outrageous. She made herself and other Christians look retarded and I find her actions on this topic more offensive than the Glee kiss on TV. People are entitled to their opinions and again just because I am a Christian does not mean I am a homosexuality hating person I believe in the Bible and where it states it is a sin but just because it is and that’s what I believe does not make me a hater or mankind or a hater of the choices other people make and the way she approached it was just wrong. I also truly believe that everyone should be treated equally because not only is it the right thing to do but if I was in their shoes I would want to be treated equally as well. Again the way she approached it was wrong, I can see where she was trying to go but I think nerves and such played a part in it and she just word vomited a lot of none sense. Not only do I think she needs to make an apology to the homosexuals she offended but to the Christians and also other class of people that found it offensive as well and if she wants to make a statement then next time she needs to practice do her research and approach this situation differently with more love and acceptance for mankind in general.

  • Fred Townsend

The bible also tells you to murder homosexuals. I love retards that use the bible and or Koran to justify their hatred of other people.

  • Megan Reneau

People like her are what’s truly sickening.

  • seriously? I don’t know why i was expecting better from this woman.

  • Anonymous

I just cant take her voice seriously..

  • Mark

Gee: Victoria Jackson is just as stupid and as ditzy in real life as her character was on Saturday Night Live.

She does realize that “real life” is NOT about playing a stupid and ditzy character ALL THE TIME, doesn’t she?

I love Victoria Jackson. She is such a sweetheart

  • Mark

No surprise to me why you love Victoria Jackson: Like attracts like.

“For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as Christ’s apostles. And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11:14

And she is extremely sexy- I wish I could get to know her better- she
    has amazing outspoken characteristics.

Oh, its Marky again- good luck- hope I can get u banned and your
    nonsensical hetro remarks

I want to phrase this all in the least offensive way possible, because I respect your right to have opinions on controversial issues like this.

I realize a lot of people don’t “agree” with homosexuality, but I honestly can’t for the life of me figure out what that is supposed to mean. One of my best friends told me, when I came out to him, that he doesn’t “necessarily agree with the whole gay thing” but that I was still one of his best friends. But that phrase has plagued my mind ever since, and I’ve seen it and similar things all over the internet a lot of times in conjunction with this “I am Christian and I don’t hate homosexuals, but I do believe it’s a sin” thing. I can even see where you’re coming from there, but what I don’t understand is why people don’t realize that choosing to believe that portion of the bible while ignoring others (IE: figs are evil and forbidden, stoning adulterers, divorce is a sin etc…) is just as bad as being a homophobe.

Why hang on to that belief when it is so easy to let so many others slide? Why is this something people stick to so avidly when other parts of the bible are ignored?

Sometimes I just wonder how different, how much better my life would be if that passage had been allowed to fade away like the other ridiculous parts did.

    Sorry, I’m rambling.

  •  victoria who?
